From my initial phone call through to our farewell at the airport in Kigali, everything was as promised and better.

The office staff worked with us to make a custom adventure, gave us choices and listened to what we wanted. They stepped up weeks before the trip to add another traveler and secure permits for gorilla trekking.

Norbert, our guide, was amazing, and we always had Silas nearby with the vehicle, washed, and stocked with water and supplies. He navigated through busy streets in the city, bumpy dirt roads and everything in between carefully.

Norbert was knowledge on any topic we asked about, passionate about his country, and its history and always making sure he was providing a wonderful experience for us.

He took care of everything—bags, permits, reservations, checking in and out of lodging. But most importantly, he was warm, caring , genuine and very funny. We were sad to have to say goodbye. He made a remarkable impression on us.”
