Tim is a Gem

Tim was outstanding and a gem. Soft spoken, thoughtful, a fountain of information, extremely articulate and fantastic English. His pride in his country, his community, his heritage, his people, and his work was visible from the moment that we met. Tim helped our Kinyarwanda language skills, was very sensitive and supportive after we chose to visit the Genocide Memorial on the day of our arrival into the country, helped us navigate the Kinigi visitor center in the mountains, and helped us add the Kinigi Women Village to our visit. And his truck was immaculate – amazing to have AC when we were picked up at the Kigali airport too! We hesitated to get in the truck once after our gorilla trek (wet clothes, very muddy boots, hungry) and Tim told us not to worry. He made us feel very comfortable, took great care of us, and the truck was spotless again the next day.
