His pride in his country, his community, his heritage, his people, and his work was visible from the moment that we met. Tim is the BEST! We were so lucky to get Tim. He is so outstanding. He made us feel so comfortable. He was very good at setting expectations, telling us what was coming, and finding out what we wanted and doing his best to provide it. And what a fun time! He also shared some personal/family information that made us feel very fond of him.
Hidden gem of Africa
Tim was wonderful and extremely thoughtful. From the moment we landed in Kigali from Tanzania, Tim made sure we were well taken care of. He arranged for someone to shepherd us from the plane, through customs, and brought us right to Tim – it was effortless and made us so happy because we had zero stress! Tim was great! He was knowledgeable and informative and a pleasure to be with. He built a step stool with his own hands to make the truck easier to get into and out of! He transported the sedan chair on the roof of the truck on the day of our gorilla trek!

Tim was very polite, professional, and detailed oriented! He was pleasant and always accommodated our personal requests! He taught us a lot about the Rwandan people and their culture. He took us twice to shopping areas to find items we wanted and took us to a really neat women’s owned Rwandan coffee shop to buy coffee to take home! He provided us with a wealth of information and guided us through the experience of getting to know his country. Having Tim as a guide, definitely enhanced our experience. I fell in love with Rwanda and his guidance was a big part of that.
