Rwanda Visa Application
Citizens of all countries are allowed to get visa upon arrival without prior application.
Citizens of all countries that are not visa exempt have also option to submit application online or at the Rwanda Diplomatic Missions of the country of residence before departure. Those applying online have the option to pay online or upon arrival. There is no single affiliated Agent that is authorized to apply for visa on your behalf.
You can apply for your Rwanda visa online. Click here and select Visa Application under the Immigration And Emigration section. Select the “V1 Holidays (Single Entry)” or “VI Vacances (entree unique)” from the drop down menu.

Special Note: Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months (from the date of your departure from Rwanda) and has at least 2 blank pages in your passport per country visited. Please review all visa regulations well in advance of your arrival.
Countries with Reciprocity – Rwanda will grant visa free of charge with 90 days validity to the following countries on reciprocal basis: Benin, Central African Republic, Chad, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Haiti, Senegal, Seychelles and Sao Tome and Principe. This is in addition to Democratic Republic of Congo, East African Community Partner States, Mauritius, Philippines, and Singapore.

Kenya Visa Application
Electronic Travel Authorization:
- Please be advised that effective January 1, 2024, Kenya has a new Eletronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system. You can apply at this website: https://www.etakenya.go.ke/en
- All visitors including infants and children who intend to travel to the Republic of Kenya must have an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before the start of their journey.
General Notes:
- Processing time is three (3) working days but in some cases it may take longer.
- Please have the following documents ready before you begin your applicaiton:
- Valid passport for at least six (6) months after your planned date of arrival into Kenya, with at least one blank page
- Selfie or passport-type photo
- Contact information, email address and phone number
- Details of your arrival and departure itinerary
- Accommodation booking confirmation(s)
- Credit card, debit card or other means of payment
- The cost is $34.09 USD per person.
- Do not apply more than 90 days prior to travel.
- Passengers arriving by air who are transiting in Kenya are not required to do an eTA, provided they are not leaving airport.
